Description:
The Katana is a slightly curved, single edged blade that originates from Japan and is commonly referred to as a samurai sword. The blade is usually more than 23" and is renowned for being incredibly sharp.
Pros
- It is incredibly light which allows for quick repeated slashing at the zombies neck.
- It is very sharp and can easily slice through the tissues and spinal column attaching the zombies head to its reanimated body.
- The katana usually comes with a sheath so it can be carried safely.
Cons
- The blade needs to be regularly oiled and sharpened otherwise it will become ineffective.
- It must be cleaned after every use or it will rust.
Availability
In the UK the Katana is classed as an offensive weapon and is only legal if it is traditional (pre 1954) or a martial arts weapon.
