Description:
The only major difference between a fire axe and a lumberjack's axe is that the fire axe has a large spike on the back of it. This is usually used for braking down doors inside a burning building but can be just as useful when killing zombies.
Pros
- It has a very sharp blade which can decapitate a zombie with ease.
- The spike on the back of the blade could, if swung hard enough penetrate the zombie's skull in one hit.
- It can be used to split a zombies head in two in the same way you would split logs. (Not advised due to the mess and possible contamination risk).
- The fire axe is a useful tool for breaking down doors.
- It can be used to chop wood for fires.
Cons
- It is quite heavy so the recovery time from a swing could leave you vulnerable.
- It is difficult to swing in an enclosed space like a corridor.
Availability
It will most likely be found in the many abandoned fire trucks that were tackling the blazes at the start of the outbreak.
